lady bugs 3 images A200 macro

After the rain, shot the above ladybugs, images cropped and Picassa PP. Eating another dead insects

Great series Marcus.
Never seen Lady bugs humping before.
They are good bugs to have in the garden.

Colors of the bugs are quite nice and there are some others in almost red.

Its found in abundance within this time in our neigbourhood.

Nice shots Marcus...
That last one is not them eating another insect, that may actually be empty shell of the larvae stage of the lady bugs. If you look around, you should see a bunch of those guys on the same plants as the lady bugs... And they are aphid eating machines!

I got it now, Thank you Gus. Below is another larvae of the lady bug. Haha..(Just discovered)



Is this the same as the larvae of the ladybugs?Above


Just wonder on the wings protruding out from the rear of lady bug. Will it change to another form? Anyone could help pl? I am learning.
