Nature red shouldered hawk

On our way back home from a walk, I spotted this hawk just inside the woods, and I was surprised it didn't fly away, pleasantly surprised when he let me snap away for five minutes. I hope I correctly identified it.

Yes, this is the only shot I got when he wasn't serious looking.
