Great picture even though not taken with a Pentax -- maybe I should add that is an attempt at being humorous?

pmnoyes. Not certain where you are coming from. You have been a member here for quite some time so surely you are aware that all manufacturers' brands are welcome.

Thanks very much for the compliment. Happy Holidays.

Lighting from below makes an interesting image of it.
And I like that flower's yellow!

Keep it going Tony. It's still producing prized blooms. Good color and texture.

Gorgeous color, Tony! Is it in the house for winter, or did you bring it in just for photography? If it's outdoors, you must be having very mild weather!

Thanks very much for your comment. Yes, it is indoors for the winter. I was under the impression that it was done blooming until the Spring, however my better half tells

me it should bloom year around.

Indeed, yes, with enough light and moisture, it may well bloom all year. Most hibiscus here do so. Individual flowers only last a day or so, but the plants continue to produce them year 'round!
