Catching the Mist
Lens: DFA 100mm f2.8 macro Camera: K-3II Photo Location: Boerne, TX ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F6.3

The one thing about foggy weather, the mist accumulates on plant leaves making for interesting water droplet photos. The first shot was a 10-shot focus stack.

Super captures. Gives me something else to look for on a foggy day. What is really amazing to me is the fact that the water droplets on the plants are virtually all uniformly round. Creates quite a visual effect. Wonderful catch and capture.

Ten image stack is really an accomplishment!
And, like Mike said, these perfectly round jewels of water are quite the visual experience.

Thanks Mike! The conditions were perfect yesterday, for once there wasn't any wind which allowed the droplets to form perfectly.

Truly great shots. Focus stacking is something I've thought about, but never had the time to set up and try.

For that second shot, it might have been interesting to play with off camera flash to see if you could get interesting starburst effects off of all those droplets.
