Wow, how do you get so close to the birds like that?! Especially with a 200mm lens!

I'm not a birder, so for me the sharp capture of a bird is nice, but I'm more concerned with the over look of the image. And that is one fine image. Definitely suitable for a spot on the wall.

a very fine shot. right place, right time.
i've got a couple of shots of a pair sleeping that are pretty cool. let me find them and i'll post for you.

i forgot i had these online so the search was easy. these two were sleeping on the inside of the over hang of my shed. i found them by accident.
