This abnormally warm December in Texas has been very popular with the butterflies, particularly the Queens. Yesterday I spent a good hour and a few hundred shots at one salvia bush loaded with butterflies. They were completely oblivious to me, and the only real problem was they kept photo bombing my shots.

What a great experience. Nice to see butterflies in sunlight again. We had a blast of hard winter hit us a few days back. Terrific series Todd.
