These bushes are a wall of green leaves until winter.
And in winter, the water rises and lifts a whole surface of floating chunks.
The stems of those bushes make their own abstract designs of dark against white twigs and light reflected from wet wood.

Definitely swampy and the conditions do present interesting patterns to view. Like central area of dark branches reaching upward. Interesting capture.

That upward "flow" looks symbolic of flames to me.

We certainly do have snakes here!
But not water snakes, very much. Mostly rattlesnakes, and more than a few!
I've never seen snakes in this water, though.
