Pile of Granite Blocks With Licorice Ferns
Lens: SMC Pentax-DFA Macro f:2.8 100mm WR Camera: K-1 ii Photo Location: North Fork American River, CA ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/15s Aperture: F8

Westering sun skimming the tops of fractured granite on a ridge top.
The recent rains and snows have brought out the green life that always waits hidden in the cool crevices of these rocks until rains come.
Angky.

My kind of photo. Nice exposure. Great colors and good comp. Ferns and sunshine provide the highlights.

Thank you for that info!
I'm glad to know his is your kind of photo. I know you've done some big rocks in the past and a cave's mouth.
Glad you appreciate it.
(Have been thinking I should shoot some pics of snakes for you; I know you like those. But I haven't seen any snakes for awhile.)
Angky.

Been a little cold for snakes around here, but rocks are plentiful. Need a little sunshine to brighten things up. I guess Volleyball will be my live action this weekend.
