Really good high-key treatment. I'd consider cropping off half of the sky above the yacht's masts, but it's still a very successful image.

I think is ok, could lose balance if cropped.

I considered a crop that brings the same distance to the edge from the masts at the top and the reflection of the masts at the bottom. However, this unbalances the image putting the distant waterline too far above the center of the image.

That's why I don't tell people what to do with their images, only suggest – I don't know how a given image works for or is preferred by its creator. I still think it's a fine image and I'd be pleased if it was one of mine.

I like the use of negative space as is also. It's a good place to use portrait mode like that too.

This is inspiring me to go find some B/W snow shots before it's all gone..except it's getting dark..and colder.. and I'm in pajama pants. :P
