I have a Creative Cloud photographers subscription and recently started creating a Portfolio website included with Creative Cloud of some of my best photos in different categories.
The integration with Lightroom certainly makes it easy. Create a collection in Lightroom and sync it with Lightroom. Then you can import the collection into a Portfolio page and customize it.
I have my own wordpress website but this is definatly easy for anyone to do.
