One of my favorite spots in the Southwest. Due to the sheer depth and size of the canyon, 11mm apparently is not at all enough to capture the scenery in one single shot. This picture was stitched together with three 11mm shots.

Wow, that is an impressive arch, and a great capture! It is amazing how it got carved out that way.

A very well constructed image. Inside of a cave, how much more interesting can a photograph be? Many thanks for posting.

Wow!
Not only an impressive scene to find.
Not only an impressive photo of it.
But also an impressive job of stitching 11mm images together!
Really like this image!
Angky.

Thank you for your comment. Colorado river and its tributaries carved some of the most amazing canyons. You really have to be there in person to appreciate the beauty and grandeur.

Thank you. Not only the cave itself is impressive, it is amazing that an arch connected to the cave, creating a unique landscape.

Thank you Angky. Stitching these images was a bit tricky. I tried to minimize distortion and render the scene as close as our eyes see it.

This photo for maximum effect has to be seen on our best monitor . Three 11 mm photos are stitched together so well ! Could you mention the software used ?

Thanks for your comment. I used DxO ViewPoint to fix (somewhat) volume deformation, and then Microsoft Image Composite Editor to stitch these images together. I found that Microsoft ICM worked really well in most circumstances.
