I didn't start out with the goal of taking this shot.. I was actually stalking a Bluebird, which didn't work out and then this "blue" bird few in to check things out. Blue jays are one of those birds that get a bum rap at times... they can be noisy , and terrorize other birds and are a major predator on song bird eggs and chicks.. but credit where due, they are a very pretty Bird!

Sometimes we get the picture of a different bird than the one we originally sought. Nice shot of the Blue Jay with a good blurred background. Despite their reputation, they are a handsome bird.
