Lichen / Spider

I took this picture of the spider back in 2018. The spider was pretty sharp back when I originally processed it. I've had Topaz Sharpen AI for a year or so now and didn't use it until recently. When I reprocessed this image and used Sharpen AI I was impressed with how well the lichen turned out. Just thought I'd share as not getting out much right now (and I don't post much).

The lichen does pop in details.. spiders hairs are pretty sharp also. Do you know the name of the spider? it looks like one we have here a "Dark Fishing Spider", Dolomedies tenebrosus. Very nice image.

Thanks, I think this is a wolf spider but I could be completely wrong as well.

I, for one, am glad you posted this!
Macros of lichens interest me, and then you've added the bonus of a spider!

Great combination. The spider has staked a claim on this spot. Great details , colors and textures in the lichen and spider. Well done.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I posted this then found the thread about Topaz sharpen AI saving shots made with less than good glass. I think it saved this shot and this was made with really nice glass so useful for those slightly off shots too.

Thanks again

Tim
