A Cardinal Day
Lens: Sigma 135-400 APO Camera: Pentax KP Photo Location: Yard ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F8

Several Cardinals showed up today, all at once.

Nice Mike, particularly like the first image in the set. . Got the flock in the last one along with a sparrow... white throated sparrow?

Cardinals too are very striking birds!
First shot shows him in his finery.
The last shot I like for the variety of colors and types of birds all in the same place.

Thanks. Cardinals are pretty common here but are pretty. Put the last photo in just to show the group. For some reason my upload files were real small.

Thanks Angky. Glad you like the Cardinals. I need to work at getting the images to upload. These file sizes were small.

I love cardinal images. They are such beauties. I really like the pose with the crest up in the first one.

I love that first one. The brightness of the cardinal against the gray winter backdrop is striking.

Thanks for commenting. That first one seems to be the favorite. I'll be shooting photos at my granddaughters volleyball tournament games this weekend.
