Lone Cormorant Flying Past the Waves
Lens: PENTAX-D FA 150-450mm F4. 5-5.6 ED DC AW Camera: Pentax K3 iii Photo Location: Pt Lookout Stradbroke Island ISO: 160 Shutter Speed: 1/2500s Aperture: F7.1

I initially thought "Nah, too far away, too small" as I aimed the 150-450 on this lone cormorant. But as I continued to track it, the surf behind it picked up, so took a single burst of about 4 shots. My grandson thought this was the best of the four. I kinda agree.

The lone Cormorant appears to be flying into peril. The rough surf is a nice scene and you topped it off with solo flyer. Good shot.

I really like this shot. It puts the scale of the waves into perspective with the cormorant in the image.

A very action-oriented shot, and very well composed shot!
The best part is knowing that bird has no concerns whatever about all the violence and action all around him.
He's got it all under calm control!!!
Angky.
