It makes my brittle old body hurt just to see this kind of flexibility.

Nice shot. They are quite the contortionist. Balance would be the first problem for me and then I'd test the brittle body. This is a nice shot, very detailed. Where is the Texas Sea Center?

Thank you, Mike, as always.

The Texas Sea Center is a state facility in Lake Jackson about a 10 minute drive from my house. The center has a small but high-quality aquarium and a number of programs aimed primarily for kids; area schools often bring students to learn about aquatic life. However, for me the best feature is a wetlands area that can be viewed from a boardwalk that makes photographing easy!

Thanks, Tony. Flexibility is the ability to bend without breaking.

This guy (or gal) was certainly putting on a show; I'll post some other pics of this character in a day or two. Thanks much for looking!

Me too, EM. I'm 75, an age at which a stiff neck is a normal condition.

Thanks, my friend. One good thing about ibises is they contort themselves in astonishing ways.

Hey, thanks Al. It's been a great place for me to photograph ibises, egrets, herons and various flowers over the years.
