How short a time it was since I was trying to get rose pictures that weren't burnt, and you were sending shots of rain-on-roses!
But this is a nice image even being burnt.

Must be getting hot in your area. Nicely composed image. Good colors and details. The sun burnt petals add character.

Yes we just broke a record for 6 days over 40 degrees in a row.

40 C (104 F) - that's pretty toasty even for those of us living in SE Texas. No wonder the rose is struggling!
