Taken in 2020, this image had been overlooked until I was dumping the dross from that year’s folder. Looking south from the shore at or near Corrie on Arran’s east shore towards Brodick bay and the Holy Isle, the light on the water and just glancing over the rocks caught my attention.

The light does create a beautiful contrast. The flowing forms of land set an interesting game for the water to challenge. That’s the kind of shots that are also fantastic in monochrome.

beautiful shot, making my travel itch even worse. I would love to spend a couple or three months in Scotland. my family originates on the other side and way north, first the shetlands then Glasgow before losing their minds and emigrating to Manitoba
