Every January Black Moshannon State Park, located in the Allegheny Mountains of North Central Pennsylvania hosts a "Fun In The Snow" day. People come out to play hockey on the 250 acre lake, snow mobile, X-country ski, snow shoe, Ice fish, hike, skate etc. Located at 2100 Ft above sea level, this past Saturday was frigid(below 0 degrees F) but there was a lot of brilliant sunshine. A lot of folks showed up to enjoy it. I wandered around the lake , and took these with the K3iii. The camera/lenses handled the frigid weather with no problems.

A lot of your shots are very blue - any idea why?

That was the actual color of the shade caused by a very blue sky and a brilliant sun on the very white ice/snow.

Good series of winter shots covering a nice variety of winter activities. So bright that it looks like you could go snow blind.
