Gorgeous shot. A tree stands tall backed by great colors in the sky. The beach and water are covered with snow. Good thing you told us it was a beach. Nice composition.

Thanks, the beach is down there somewhere.

Ice fishing huts and skidoo trails have replaced beach chairs and rafts.

That cooold(!) image reminds me of a very cold Christmas trip I took into Canada a long time ago!

Something never to be forgotten!

Nice landscape, Norm. The shot reminds me of our time in Michigan and looking out over a frozen Saginaw Bay from our marina. We'd make a few trips there each winter to check our boat and think of spring.

I think you have to be a northerner to really appreciate these scenes. We know what suffering out in the freezing cold it took to get these images. Unfortunately, no one has released a camera you can operate while wearing skidoo mitts.

We need a big fat almost empty camera body with controls the size of saucers and a built in hand warmer.

I often shoot until my fingers are numb.
