Hi,

These shots taken with my A 70-210 f/4 lens. Would love to hear what you think.

Wow!

Let me be the first one to say Wow! Nice shots, Matt! Really vivid and contrasty, I won't even mention their sharpness.

Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
-Asad

Nice little friend you have there, and great shots. Did you do it handheld?

I agree, number one is my favorite. Wish I could get as sharp focusing with the A lens. Nice work.

Yep, Handheld

ISO 800, f/4 and f/5.6. Shutter speeds around 1/200. Overcast day in the shadows of our apartment building. These were a bit underexposed as well, the real effort went into the post processing.

Forgot, also shot with ist DS = no image stabilization.

Thanks, everyone

Wow, thanks for all the feedback, I'm glad you liked the photos. I was quite pleased with the results myself.

In a side note, I posted these images at dpreview and hardly anyone even commented on them. It wasn't like yet that even a couple months ago. I guess I know where to post my images now if I want feedback. Are people here generally critical as well if you ask for critique? It's important to me to not only get positive opinions, but honest ones, too.
