Nature awaking from Winter slumber... I'm always pleased to see these in the Kerrowdown grounds.

A welcome sign that spring is coming. After driving around on ice yesterday and through areas which had freezing rain and toppled trees, we are really looking forward to nice weather. Thanks for sharing.

The luminous flowers are well balanced by the similar quality of the great browns, red-browns, and spots of green surrounding them.
Very attractive image!

Aye the rich coloured leaf litter certainly does add to the scene.

Also serves as a reminder to get the rake out and clear up the grounds a bit.
