Name that tree.
Lens: pentax 55-300 Camera: k5IIs Photo Location: Saugus Ma.

The Pentax 55-300 did a decent job hand held from 70 yds away. It's a Bald Eagle 10 miles North of Boston here in Saugus. Extra credit if you can identify what type of tree that it is perched on.--Charliezap.

Excellent capture. My guess is a: Magnolia. Again,very nice work.

Interesting way of capturing and presenting that eagle!
I don't know those flowers, and I don't call it a magnolia--at least not any that I'm familiar with.
Maybe somebody knows immediately--part of the enjoyment of this site.

Yep Tulip tree, I have one in my yard, had one in the yard growing up. I just spent $4800 to have an over 120 foot tall one taken down. It had a 2 foot hole in the side you could see light thru and a nice lean towards the apartment house.
