That is a great detailed shot. The eye is so distinctly black. Nice background blur pattern.

Thanks Mike! It's almost minimum focus, so there is very little cropping, and the bokeh from the DFA 150-450 is generally really good.

This is nice. I like this shot. Birds always make such interesting shots. I have a soft spot for the little guys. Maybe I was/will be a bird.. hmmm

Thank you! Grey Fantails are friendly little creatures and have a beautiful song, so they are easy to like. As for reincarnation - I wonder what it would be like to soar like an eagle or fly between Japan and Australia twice a year like a Snipe!
