Purple Sky, Black Trees--And A Couple of Celestials · **1 Like**

I've heard that volcanic emissions can result in a purple sky.
Well, I thought it looked purple when I finished PP...
Anyway, the tree silhouettes are black.
Not sure what color are the moon and the star.

I like that sky color. I like the composition of the first image best. It has the crescent moon above, the mass of trees below and more of the transition from the orange to purple sky. The second image has the colors, but is missing the anchor. Detail is good in both images.

That moon does "anchor" the image, doesn't it?
An anchor in the sky...
