Blue Jay on a perch
Lens: DA*60-250 Camera: K-1 Photo Location: My back yard ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/800s Aperture: F9

It's cold, if you put food out, they will come.
K-3 and DA*60-250 with HD DA 1.4 TC
800 ISO, ƒ/9, 1/800s, 350mm

Pretty Blue Jay captured with great colors and detail. Perched on that branch it gave you a nice profile.

They all look the same to me.
You do see some pretty ugly ones when the chicks are moulting.

They look the same but the background of the shot makes a difference.

I really like this shot Norm! I looked at it on Flickr, and the sharpness and details are fantastic. When you can get a static shot of a bird like this, the 60-250 with the teleconverter is hard to beat. I haven't seen an image from either the DA*300 or DFA 150-450 that is any better than this.

Thanks for the kind comments gentlemen. I actually did it for another thread to show how little vignetting there is with the DA*60-250 and the 1.4 TC on my K-1, even though I haven't had the baffle altered.
