I decided I will use only my HD DA 16-85 mm f/3.5-5.6 ED and DA* 60-250 mm f/4 ED lenses on this 26 Mpx K3 III body from now on. This morning I tried the K3 III with the DA* 60-250 mm f/4 zoom on tripod. It is snowing abundantly once again (we received one foot on Thursday) and the lens captured the snowy atmosphere of the day. I'm using JPEG, Auto White Balancing, Center-weighted metering, the 'VIBRANT" color palette, Auto-ISO between ISO 100 and 200, an aperture of f/8 (the OPTIMUM for the DA* 60-250 mm) and I underexposed - 0.7 stop (better use 0.0 exposure close-up). The lens SDM auto-focussing works splendidly with this combo.

To paraphrase Red Skelton (a comic on CBS T.V. when I was young) : "I'm sick and tired of winter, you ding-a-ling !" ... lol!

Two months of winter would be quite enough but this damn season seems to never end. January is the "month of cold" but February is the "month of snowfall". Daylight picks up in March and we see the end in April only.
