I don't have any 55mm lenses, but as a "nod" to @UncleVanya

A perverse side of me hopes the winner uses a Q with an adapted 55mm m42.
I used the 50mm lens that was kitted with my first Pentax in 1979

At one time, the New York Central railroad entered South Bend from the West {Chicago IL} and from the SouthWest {Galesburg IL}, and they {and their successors after they merged to form the Penn Central and later Conrail} ran "pool trains" between Elkhart IN {where the NYC had a yard and Galesburg {where the Santa Fe had a yard}, but somebody {probably to get Conrail ready for sale} pulled up the SW track {so crude oil now goes through Chicago suburbs on its way to Cleveland OH refineries}, and the land returned to use as growing corn and soybeans. In fact, I couldn't even determine where the track had run.

This was almost literally a "point and shoot" attempt. I had left my Hoodman at home, so I had a terrible time telling if this shot was even level, and I wasn't certain what the photograph contained until I got home to my computer. I did run the photo through Gimp for its 'white balance adjustment", but otherwise I made no changes in it - and, no, I don't expect to 'win' .... but one can never tell.

A valiant expression of the theme! I love that you tried this on the Q. I think this may be worth a revisit.
Is the lack of sharpness just the lens not resolving enough for the high pixel density or is this the case of movement or lack of perfect focus?

Since I couldn't see much when I took the photo, I basically used the hyperfocal distances as a guide. At the shutter speed selected, I don't see how movement could have been a problem.

added:
Now that I think more about it, I should investigate the lens issue more.
I used the Pentax-M lens for what are basically sentimental issues, but I do also have Takumar 50mm f/1.4,
which is closer to your original suggestion, and may be a better match for the Q-S1’s sensor

I guess I was like a dog with a bone. although our cat's wouldn't like that expression.

I returned this morning with my seven-element Taukumar, but even before I left, I knew that the adapter shutter wasn't firing, and the pictures were blurry {probably motion blur} .... the one good thing from that adventure was my noticing this road, which is probably the remains of the railroad ROW, since power lines often share railroad ROW, and those who take over railroad land often re-use the gravel rather than move it.

So, this afternoon I returned a third time with a generic adapter. As is often the case with landscape photos, I used as narrow an aperture as I felt I could 'get away with' and focused to infinity, hoping that most of the image will be within DOF. At this point, I don't now what else to improve it, other than move to a coastal city or the mountains. I used a good lens, focused it as well as I could, and used as deep DOF as I could, while still minimizing diffraction.
