Thanks for viewing and commenting. The critters were out enjoying the sunshine and sunflower seeds in the feeders.

Thanks Jer. Virtually all were shot through window panes and with the K-5IIs. It had my longest zoom mounted. Still too cold and slick to shoot outside.

Great use of telephoto to cross boundaries (the cold). Enjoyed those cheerful shots!

Thanks Angky. I like those shots also. The Carolina Wren is one of my favorite birds to watch.

Very nice images, and a great "story" that thoroughly explains the situation. -29ºC this morning here.... way to cold to go out and shoot. We no longer feed close enough to shoot out a window. It caused vermin problems.

That squirrel, in your feeder, I could have taken the same image, almost identical, except I use Robertson screws, your feeder uses Philips.

Most Yanks haven't discovered the superiority of Robertsons... you are forgiven..

Thank you for commenting. You are right about that. Just have to keep those windows clean.

Thanks Todd. Lot of customers. We just put out some Thistle seed and noticed that the sunflower seed needs to be replenished also.

Thanks for you comments. My feeders are getting so old, that I use whatever screws are available. I'll look up those Robertsons. Several of my feeders need to be rebuilt or replaced.

Honestly , I use what I have, even Philips... the Robertsons have square head screwdriver. The Philps are better for self centring in automated assembly. Robertsons are better for holding the screw if you are driving a screw at the back of an electrical box or something. For every day use, they aren't much different, except it's much easier to start a screw without a pilot hole with Robertsons. In the U.S. they are mostly used by electricians. Since Robertson was a Canadian, we use them for everything here.
