THX ! This Convent was next to a small farm ran by the Sisters for 100 years. They milked a few cows and made cheese, had chickens to produce eggs, an apple orchard and they tended a huge garden to feed the Community. Only the orchard is still visible on the South side of the building, everything else has been abandoned or dismantled. The Convent occupies a prime real-estate site facing South, up a cliff near the Saint Lawrence, enjoying a micro-climate that gave them a tremendous advantage in food production. The site is beautiful and the building that served to house the Nuns has now been converted to a new useful purpose. Regards
