Mink.
Lens: DA* 300 F/4 Camera: K-3ii Photo Location: Western Maryland. ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/350s Aperture: F8

I was just checking out a small local water supply lake here in Western Maryland and a Mink makes a run across the partially frozen lake right in front of me and my camera. Sometimes ya just get lucky!

Congrats! I've only seen a mink a handful of times in my life.

Great catch. I haven't seen a mink in a long time. Good shot with little notice.

So that is a mink--a true mink!
We have otters, but i've never been able to recognize a mink.

I have a few other photos as well and I can see the white patch under the lower jaw which helped positively identified it.
