Nice. Maybe try and convert them into black and white for better impact

She is an angel in number 4. Number 1 is good to but 4 has the look. She is a beautiful child.

Lovely daughter! The first really captures a moment. I like your use of shallow depth of field. Watch out for those stray hairs!

Thank you one and all for encouraging words.
Regarding the out of focus far eye, does it look too odd? A friend of mine said both eyes are supposed to be in focus in portraits but some how I thought, this way it draws the attention to the shar focussed eye. I may be wrong.

My pick is the first one, too. Why? Because the hands improve the image.
I fully agree on the comments about those few hairs, and your use of shallow depth of field. But you could try what happens if you have both her eyes sharp. That may even make the pictures better!

You've got a lovely daughter, by the way. How old is she?

Cheers,
Syb

I really don't listen to "supposed to" type opinions. I very often use a shallow depth of field with only one eye in focus... I tend to focus on the closer eye too. It's a stylistic choice that those that go by the book have difficulity understanding.

Stick with your style and enjoy!

All are nice shots, but I think you've manage to capture the emotions best in #1, and it's the hands that does it.
