Nice hazy blur behind the focused elements. Almost like smoke in the background. Nice shots.

I like the "tone" of these photos, Todd. I particularly like the abstract nature of the second one. Good stuff!

I like the presentation of the seed head in the top photo; that's the sort of image I like to shoot.
The bottom image is, like Jer said, a really nice abstract. I continually try to make an abstract out of these verticals, but am always disappointed. Yours is nicely done!
