I think I got the better framing ... LOL !
Camera: Canon A640 Photo Location: Quebec, CANADA ISO: 100 Aperture: F8

I was visiting a grain farm just after seedlings has shot up and were starting their growing season. The "official" Ministry's photographer, Marc Lajoie, took a picture of the very graphic aspect of the field (I took one image too) but I think I finally got the better framing by including the Ministry's photographer at work in MY image. Later we compared results and we both laughed a lot. I accompanied Marc often on his picture-gathering expeditions as I was in charge of producing a Ministry's Video about Soil Conservation and Minimum Tillage Techniques destined to Farmers and students in agricultural colleges. We were scouting for places to be filmed later in order to appear in the Video.

Barley planted along with clover. Clover (a leguminous) provides nitrates extracted from ambient air (21 % Oxygen + 78 % Nitrogen) to the cereal's roots. Less need to apply mineral nitrate fertilizers then.

Regards
