My K5 was an awesome picture-taking machine ... · **1 Like**

These were the days ... My old K5 produced really good images. On the shore of the Saint Lawrence, not far from Quebec City bridges to the South shore.

Nice shot Richard. I recently gifted my K-5 to a grandson with some lens and adapters for telescopes. He has developed an interest in astronomy and photography and I put together a starter kit. If his interest continues, I will likely be providing him more gear as he progresses.

I discovered older SD memory cards that were filled with images taken with my K5 when it was my "flagship". I'm always surprised by the sharpness, contrast and colors I see in these pictures. While the K3 is certainly a little better, the K5 was state-of-the-art when it was first issued.
