Traveling North between Quebec City and the Saguenay region, I stopped to rest for awhile at "L'Etape", a Service Center at mid-point between the 2 places. I noticed the clouds floating eeriely over the fir-covered mountain neatby.

The dark under sides of the clouds does make the view a little eerie. great dark and bright contrast.

Condensed water floating around in the air as minuscule droplets.
Understood from a physics perspective, that is all it is.
Understood from a world's ecosystem of balance and mutually interdependent systems, it is awesome!
Understood from the imaginative human mind, and reflected in these clouds of sunlight and shadow, we can almost imagine that stupendous system operating all round the whole earth.
This image gives a bit of a notion of that!

They call this the "Cycle of Water" in the environment, high rate of evaporation here. It was extremely windy and the clouds were shifting shape from minute to minute. But the play of light in the sky of the fading day was very beautiful and drew my attention. Beauty is everywhere around us.

The graphism of the image is "elegant", I would say, a diagonal line, dark and bright masses balancing each other. I don't know why but these elements just take their place naturally in my mind's eye. "VISUALISATION" they call this.
