A lot of "luck" and mistakes went into this image; I was very surprised when it turned out to be something that I could fix in PP. Part of the trouble was the very stiff and erratic evening breeze--nearly a gale, I thought it was. And my camera settings weren't ideal, as I found out. Well, it was fun, and will be more fun as I learn more. Thanks for the help! Thanks very much for the treat. Tony I've been trying to find a way to make such images sharper. The point of focus is on the tips of the right-hand wing. But that's due to the bird's jump into the air. I think I should have run a smaller aperture--yet I wanted to keep the shutter speed up there since it was hand-held.
