Every Spring, around the end of March, beginning of April, the snowgeese migrate North to reproduce quietly far from their predators. They fly from North Carolina to Bylot Island in the Canadian Arctic and the Saint Lawrence is a migratory stop where they can rest and feed for awhile. A grandiose show announcing Winter is finally over. Their population has reached over 1 million individuals. Canon G3X superzoom.

Lots of geese. They show up well in the blue waters.

Very nice capture Richard. As Mike said, they really stand out against the blue water. I see there is a GPS tracking collar on one of them in the center.
