Just a Morning Stroll
Lens: D FA 28-105mm Camera: K-1 ii Photo Location: Neighbor's Garden-Sac. ISO: 200 Aperture: F8
Posted By: angkymac, 03-22-2022, 01:24 PM

Intended to take a healthy brisk walk, but got distracted by the sights in my neighbor's garden.
Well, I can appease his anger with a cold beer or a cup of hot coffee--or maybe he won't even notice my trespass!
If it's for the purpose of photography, the old geezer will probably offer me a cup of coffee.
He was an outstanding photography, but has lost much of his sight at over 85 or some years, and photography discussions about Konica Hexanon lenses or Pentax screw-mount lenses--
Or chatting about the shots I stole from his garden.
So I invaded his garden this morning!
I only wish he could focus on the flowers he grows in spite of his limited vision!!!
I'll post them here and you folks can see if they are enjoyable; I'll tell him about them.
Angky.
Aperture priority, so the shutter speed varies.
Light varied so the ISO varied.
DOF varied, so the aperture varied.
Hmmmm.... Even the lens varied!

Oops! Only three images loaded.
I'll have to create a new thread, I guess.

Another good series. Pretty flowers and nice captures. What is that tiny flower in the second image.

The tiny flower in the second image is the seed pair.
I don't know if it can be called a flower, or not. At this point I think it might be considered a flower.
At any rate, in a few days, these two seeds will mature, turn brown and do the typical maple helicopter trip down to the ground.
This is a Japanese ornamental maple with very small leaves, and extremely tiny seeds.
These are the seeds--presented as a pair as with all maple seeds that I know of.
Thanks for your note! Sorry I took so long to reply, but have not been home for a few days.
Angky.
