I'm very pleased with my K5IIs but maybe it's time to upgrade a step or 2. Any suggestions will be appreciated.--charliezap

Nice captures. You do well with that camera. I'm hesitant to make recommendations, but I do like my KP.

Thanks Mike. Maybe I'll hang on to the camera for a bit more. It's 10 years old but has treated me well over those years.--charliezap

I still use my K-5IIs. I use the KP more. The largest lens that I use is a Sigma 170-500, and I use it on both cameras. One benefit I've found with the KP is the use of the 55-300 PLM lens. Even with the Pentax 1.4 HD teleconverter, it's a lighter weight kit than most longer zoom lens. I also like using the Sigma 135-400 with either camera. The main reason that I purchased the KP was for low light performance. Image file sizes are quite a bit larger from the KP. Whatever you decide, keep shooting.

A truly interesting image you've got here.
I have not much to say about the equiment.
I'm still using my K10D and telling myself that I deserve a different camera, but can't justify it yet.
(I do have the K1, but often the APS-C sensor is the better choice for macros and flowers. And the K10 is MUCH easier to carry around!)
Like Mike said, keep shooting.
Angky.
