What a perfect catch!
The bird, pristine in its curvature, frames perfectly the amazing shapes in the water!
And all so perfectly in focus.

Thank you! I thought that the shapes in the water were fascinating - it looks more like ice than water. I'm very happy with the AFC results from this trip.

Beautiful shot over those beautiful blue waters. These birds really fly low over the water. That water has peaks like a mountain ridge.

Thank you! Actually the Shearwaters usually flow a lot lower! I was trying to get a photo of one wheeling with a wingtip on the surface, but I didn't get a really good one. I'm really fascinated by the shapes in the water in the photos.
