Palm Frond Patterns
Lens: DFA 100mm f2.8 macro Camera: K-5 Photo Location: San Antonio Botanical Garden ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/320s Aperture: F5

in black & white. The San Antonio Botanical Garden has a two-story greenhouse/building that houses a wide variety of palms. I find palms great subjects for black & white with their interesting patterns and the way light interacts with them.

Good black and white. They do show interesting patterns. I like the fronds coming in from the bottom and overlapping the upper pattern. Nice capture.

Interesting patterns you've caught.
And I like the lighting transitions enhancing those patterns.

Thanks Mike! I kind of wished I had a taken a slightly wider view to pick up more of the one in the lower right corner.
