When I saw the title of your post...the old Vanguard....and also saw a bit of a vehicle...I had to open it up. I assumed you were talking about a Vanguard van...an old British car company, probably long out of business.

I had an uncle and aunt, both deceased, that in the early '50's drove a Vanguard van. It looked something like this. My uncle started a 10 truck, goods transportation company, with the Vanguard van being his first truck.

The Vanguard I was referring to was the face in the window, providing the security.

Potentially soul catching, even... I don't know why but this has a strong evil clowns vibe about it! Fun snap all the same

Cheers

I puzzled over this image for awhile. Found the info about Vanguard campers, nah. Looked up Rialto, nah. Saw what looked like dog leashes and a muzzle hanging next to the mask and hazardous a guess. Well that mask is kind of spooky.😁

Quite right of course

I bet if someone tried to break into that van at night, and happened to glance at that mask in low light, it could give them quite a start.

Indeed... that mask had a luminous quality about it, so perhaps even glow in the dark.
