Nature Going low

The KP is such a wonderful camera to get shots like this. Can't remember having been able to do this back with my K-5 IIs on my belly in the mud. On the K-70 I did have the articulated screen but because it was offset to the side, I always ended up with a weird tilt in my shots. Focusing in liveview is also pretty darn effective!

Nice work. I like the top one best, the background in third one was probably hard to deal with - am not sre how much wiggling in the dirt you would have to do to reframe it.
Best advice I ever got was to "go low"... I ended up buying some pieces of hard foam mat, so I can lay on it and say somewhat clean.

I have a KP also. Good shots. Live view works equally well for the overhead shots. Thanks for posting.

For me, the background in the 1st and 3rd shots make a simple dandelion bloom into something interesting.
In the 2nd shot, the fuzzy seed head makes the background interesting in its out-of-focus patterns.
