Mockingbird
Lens: DFA 100mm f2.8 macro Camera: K-5 Photo Location: San Antonio Botanical Garden ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F5

close-ups. At least for the DFA 100mm macro. I didn't bring a longer telephoto lens, but this Mockingbird was fine with me approaching to a pretty close distance.

Very skillfully photographed wildlife series. Beautiful captures. Not easy to get these creatures to remain still long enough for such great images. Many thnx for sharing.

I like the intimate feel of these - as if you two know one another. Great shooting!

Like has been said by several, to be able to get this close, you must have some kind of "mocking-bird whisper"!
Impressive for sure!

Thanks Angky! Actually the mockingbird was whispering to me! It was chattering away with its mimicry, and it didn't mind me getting closer and closer.
