Interesting. Except for the top tuft, the bird is very similar to a Blue Jay. More cool captures. Two of the birds in the first shot look a little different. Are they the magpies?

I think they are immature young magpie-jays. Thanks for your comments.

That bird appears to want to look intelligent, with his feathered Don's cap, spectacles and doctoral hood.
Very good shots he posed for you.
