Pansy in afternoon light
Lens: SA 18-135 Camera: K-30 Photo Location: Dustyplace, Arizona ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/320s Aperture: F5.6

Spring flowers for my wife's garden. The afternoon light illuminating them from behind really brings them to life.

Pansies offer us a shot of color in times that no other flowers are in bloom. As you noted, the afternoon light (and shadows) displays them well. Good colors and detail. Well done.

That flower really loved that backlighting!
And the shadows in the right spots for the flower's coloring helped the whole thing.
