Common Loons
Lens: 55-300PLM+1.4XTC Camera: K3mk3 Photo Location: Lake Perez, PA

It was 82 degrees and sunny at Lake Perez at Penn State University's Stone Valley Recreation area and all sorts of people and animals were out and about. These two Common Loons seemed to care less if I followed them about in my kayak as they went about their daily lives.

Good series. No.3 for me also, although I like those wing patterns and the red eye in all the shots. Looks like they are quite competent anglers.

I also liked the 3rd one and number 9. Nice shots. The others also tell part of the story.

You scored a home run with that set of pictures, they are very sharp with great detail.

Thank you. I was amazed they let me get so close. Normally they're on the skittish side.
