A few more Irises
Lens: Sigma 105 Macro Camera: Pentax KP Photo Location: Conway, AR

Had a few other irises bloom, one that we transplanted here from southern Louisiana.

Looks like your iris season is upon you.
Ours is fading.
Nice rich colors in the purples.
The white is set off well by the variations in lighting shining through and around the ripples.

Can't believe someone's iris season has come and gone. Our's is nowhere near.

Beautiful captures there, Mike. Great move getting that Sigma 105mm. I know Eaglem has one also and it produces some amazing images. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Angky. Our season is upon us, but many of our irises are not blooming. Too crowded in some areas.

Thanks Jer. They tend to be LSU Tiger colors. I should look for some Razorback red.

The colours are really vibrant and stand out.

Thanks Todd. I'm glad a few bloomed this year. I think they prefer wetter climates than we have here.
