Ah, spring! Such great shots of so many birds to be taken! And you've got some of them here!

I would call that a successful photo shoot for sure! A very nice variety, and some very good shots.

Thanks for your nice comments. Springtime does offer us great opportunities to see and photograph many birds that have been absent too long. Glad you liked the images.

Thanks Tony. I'm happy that you appreciate wildlife captures as much as as I like taking taking them.

The birds' colors, details and backgrounds are all good for showing the birds in their lives.

Thank you Todd. Most of the shots were actually in my backyard and the balance from a 2 mile walk around our neighborhood. The only bird that I'm not sure of ID on is the black, orange and yellow one in the forth photo.

Thank you much Angky. The birds were out and busy yesterday. The Brown Thrashers did not pay much attention to me as they were feeding their babies.

I am guessing that it is a Baltimore Oriole.

Thanks. That is what my wife said also. Just looked too small to me. We don't see them here very often.

Very nice series. It's nice to be able to see all of those just in your neighborhood.

Thanks for commenting. We don't live in a typical neighborhood. Live on a ridge. Because many of the lots in this area are steeply inclined, no one has built on them. That leaves pockets of undeveloped wooded areas for wildlife. We purchased the lot behind our house to keep it wooded and or neighbor did the same. Chances are that no one would have built below us, but didn't want to take the chance.
